2026 Strategic Goals & Objective
#1 Grow TVRA membership
Develop and implement strategies to increase membership across three target groups
- New Villagers
- TVRA member renewals
- People that haven’t been TVRA members in recent years, or ever
- Encourage membership by emphasizing the overall benefits of joining
- Expand the number and types of social events
- Membership Goal: 25% of Tellico Village properties with a home & mailbox
#2 Monthly Social Attendance
- Continue to plan great Socials to enhance fellowship
- Make Socials enjoyable and fun through activities, themes and door prizes
- Incorporate speakers with interesting topics
- Social Goal: Maintain average social attendance of 157 or greater
#3 TVRA Event Planning
- Expand the number and types of events to have fun and engage our membership
- Recruit Event Coordinators to accomplish goals of more events
- Event Goal: Recruit and maintain 25 Event Coordinators to facilitate 150 events or more
#4 Collaborate with POA and New Villagers
- Strengthen TVRA’s recognition by partnering with POA and other Village organizations to promote special projects and programs for the betterment of all
- Ensure the Welcome Orientation is comprehensive and informative for all attendees
- Work with New Villagers on combined social events
- Goal: Collaborate on one or more events each with POA and New Villagers
#5 Advocacy
- Implement advocacy strategies by identifying and prioritizing issues having current or future impact on residents. Work with appropriate parties to help ensure positive, timely resolutions.
- Keep TVRA members informed by working closely with the POA and other Village organizations
- Establish the TVRA as a valuable two-way information conduit which provides facts to the residents and in which resident-raised issues are presented to the proper governing body in constructive recommendation form to try and achieve a resolution
- Promote community awareness
- Advocate civic involvement
- Goal: Create one or more educational articles per month to keep residents informed on topics that impact our community
