The Tellico Village HomeOwners Association (the HOA) was formed in 1989 by the original residents of Tellico Village to make sure their voices were heard on important issues impacting homeowners by various governing bodies influencing daily life in Tellico Village.
The name was change in 2025 to the Tellico Village Residents Association (the TVRA) to avoid non-compliance with Tennesses’s explicit definition of HOAs and to eliminate the growing confusion between the POA governing body and the HOA’s 501(c)(7) non-profit status as a “Social Club”. Despite the name change, the organizations charter is unchanged from its earlier days.
