Fall is here and a lot is happening in the village!
The TVRA is hosting a candidate forum on October 9th where you’ll have the chance to meet the new board candidates. Whether you attend in person or watch the televised event, it’s important to learn about the candidates and how to cast your vote for our next board leadership.
Recently, our community experienced unexpected changes with the resignation of two board members on September 17. In response, the sitting board considered three options for filling the vacant seats:
- Leave the seats vacant
- Appoint a new board member
- Conduct a special election
After a vote (3-2), the board decided to appoint Carla Johnson to fill the vacant seat for a 15-month term, ending December, 2026. The 2nd vacant seat, with a term that ends December 2025 remain unfilled for now.
Election materials will be mailed on October 27, 2025. Voting will open officially on November 2, 2025 and will remain open until 12:00 noon on November 20, 2025. Three seats are up for election, and each property is allowed one vote per open seat. The official election results will be announced on November 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
