HOA State of Kahite Forum

It was standing room only at the State of Kahite meeting on April 9th at the Kahite Community Center. The meeting offered residents valuable updates on developments within the Kahite community and across Monroe County.
Several important topics were covered including:
• Updates on new developments currently underway and those planned for the future
• Opportunities for residents to engage directly with local officials who were present and available for questions
• An introduction to Chief Zac Perry, the newly appointed head of the Hopewell Fire Department
Chief Perry shared insights into the services his department provides and spoke about the critical need for a dedicated fire station in the Kahite community. He also announced their major fundraising event – a golf tournament scheduled for August 25, 2025 – which will support this important initiative.
The meeting reflected the strong interest and engagement of the Kahite residents in shaping the future of their community.
