Happy New Year! I hope you had a festive holiday season filled with love and laughter with family and friends.
January is typically a time for New Beginnings, which is the theme of our Social this month. Please join me on January 14th to meet our new HOA Board Members, to thank those Board Members who have graciously dedicated another year of their volunteer time and efforts to the HOA, and to kick off the year with several fantastic events!
We are happy to have POA Project Manager, Scott MacRae, join us at our January Social for an update on the Tanasi rebuild project and the Tellico Action Plan. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to meet Scott and get the latest news on these important projects.
Scott is just one of many guest speakers we plan on including in this year’s social calendar to keep members informed regarding important projects and initiatives that impact our community. Although this year’s HOA Board has just begun the process of updating our Goals & Objectives, and prioritizing projects and initiatives for the year, the Board agrees that improving upon our Advocacy efforts is a top priority. Key to the HOA’s success are volunteers. To paraphrase Joe Bogardus’ Tellico Village Welcome Orientation message, the culture of our community is its volunteers. While this year’s HOA support team is almost complete, we are still in need of a few volunteers to fulfill key leadership positions to ensure the success of this year’s goals & objectives. If you have experience and are interested in any of the following areas, we’d love to talk to you!

- Loudon Utilities Board Liaison
- Monroe County Commissioner Liaison
- Tennessee Area Service System (TASS) Liaison
